4 Things The Enemy Wants To Steal From You

The thief comes to steal, to kill and to destroy…John 10:10
For someone to steal a thing from you, it means you are in possession of that thing right? There are some things you presently have that the enemy strives daily to steal from you cuz when he does, it makes it easier for him to destroy you. Check out a few of them below:
Your Peace and Joy
Have you ever lost your peace or joy at some point in life? Your life loses it taste as anxiety, fear and sadness take the front seat. Not only that, you lose your zest for life. It even becomes quite difficult to think of anything productive as negativism and dull-heartedness takes over. The enemy targets stealing these two things because they throw you into imbalance and affect your sense of judgment, going further to cripple your advancement in life.
Your Purity
Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall SEE God…Matt 5:8. The purity of your mind from evil, unproductive, bitter, unforgiving and immoral thoughts is an important factor that helps you clearly perceive the promptings of God in your spirit. The enemy tries to cloud your mind, heart and life with any of these thoughts in order to hamper your ability to hear the spirit of God clearly. Don’t forget that acts of sin are also acts of impurity.
Your Faith
Your faith is like an ATM card by which you access spiritual blessings in this natural world. Without that card, you can’t successfully access the blessings of God in the physical realm. The enemy works hard to steal you faith via situations of life and replace it with fear, doubt and anxiety so as to cut you off from your blessings.

Your Fellowship With God
Fellowship with God is built via spending quality time in the presence of God both in public and private. Especially as we grow older and get busier, the enemy tries to get you to the point where your fellowship with God becomes minimal or non-existent. When this happens, your prayer life dries up and your spiritual senses are dull, giving the enemy free hand to work all kinds of crazy stuff. The sad thing is; when our fellowship with God is affected, we’re the ones who’re the worse for it, not him (God).
Now that you know what the enemy is constantly seeking to steal from you and why, guard your heart, life and mind to ensure he doesn’t succeed in it. xoxo
