Letter to My Kid Sister

Dear Kid Sister,

I’m happy you’ve turned out to be a very pretty young woman; beautiful not just outwardly but in many other ways. If I were not your brother, I would have married you lol. I know you would make a beautiful wife someday and whoever marries you would truly be a blessed man. Knowing how cruel the world can be, especially the world of dating and relationships, I fear for you sometimes. I wish you would only see the good side of life and not the messy side of life. But instead letting my fears consume me; I’ve decided to write you this letter instead. It’s not like the usual letters; this time, I’m sharing with you useful tips that will guide you and help you navigate through the dating world smoothly. They’ll be quite interesting to read, but please don’t just read them; USE THEM.
  • Love when you are ready, not when you are lonely.
  • People will change no matter how hard they try not to, you just have to find someone who will grow and change with you.
  • Sometimes when you give up on someone, it's not because u don't care anymore but because you realize they don't
  •  Your relationship will only be as strong as the time you put in it.
  • Love a guy who can make you laugh, not one who makes you cry.
  • Don't be fooled, sorry is not enough until their actions back it up
  • The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us, but those who win battles we know nothing about.
  • You can't control your emotions but you can control your actions, so always think before u act
  • Become best friends before you become lovers; there will be more honesty in the relationship and less secrets.
  • Respect people who find time in their schedule to see you. Love people who never look at their schedule when you need them.
  • Learn to let go; not everyone in your life is meant to stay.
  • Don't be cold to someone you care about... COMPLETE SILENCE and INDIFFERENCE hurts more than angry words.
  • Love is sacrifice, you have to give as much as you expect to get
  • A real man is there when you need a shoulder to cry on, or need someone to talk to, not just when he wants to be on top of you.
  • NO girl deserves to be an option.
  • You can't have a relationship without any fights, but you can make your relationship worth the fight.
  • Sometimes you have to stop trying to explain yourself and use the same energy to understand how they feel.
  • Choose your battles wisely; some fights are not worth the argument.
  • Sometimes you just gotta accept that some people can only be in your heart and not in your life.
  • The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they make the best of everything. If he doesn't make you happy, be careful.
  • Honesty is a very expensive gift, don't expect it from cheap people
  • If your man doesn't respect you, he ain't the one for you.
  • Being weird around someone is a way of letting them know that you're actually comfortable with them.
  • Life is too short to stress out over people who don't matter or deserve to be a part of your life.
  • Some people just don't realize what they got, so you have to leave them for a little while just so that they notice a good thing.
  • If two people are meant to be together, eventually they'll find their way back.
  • A true love is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.
  • Just because a person smiles all the time, doesn't mean their life is perfect.
  • If he loves you, he will make sure you know... not just by words, but by action too.
To be continued….
